After a 15-year career in marketing and communications honing her eye for “what works,” she finally committed to her dream of pursuing photography full-time. Helping people capture and preserve “the moment” in a colorful, new and energetic way is extraordinarily rewarding and keeps her work exciting!
It is Dana’s personal mission to be an active contributor to the community and she sets aside at least ten percent of her time for pro bono work to enable organizations to better tell their stories through photographs. Pro bono projects are selected each January, so please let Dana know about an organization that would benefit from professional photography.
Dana is a member of several professional organizations including Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Wedding & Portrait Professionals International (WPPI), the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the Digital Wedding Forum (DWF), the Boulder County Arts Alliance (BCAA) and The Referral Partnership. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

I am a professional photographer who is fascinated by people and compelled to create authentic portraits and wedding images filled with meaning and emotion. Always a visual person, I left a marketing career to pursue photography full-time in 2008. Since then, I have worked with many clients and brides.
Prior to founding Dana Rogers Photography, I had a long career in public relations, marketing and sales, working for companies such as The Museum of Television & Radio (NYC and LA), Noodles & Company, Floyd’s Barbershops, the Denver International Airport, Odwalla, Outlast Technologies, Frontier Airlines and many others. This experience in communications and imagery was the perfect platform to move into imagery creation on a full-time basis.
